Frequently Asked Questions about Hosting:
When should I host my free party?
It's really up to you! Most hosts prefer to party in the evening; school is out, most of their guests are home from work and they're generally more free to get together and relax.
Weekends are obviously preferred by many (whether late at night or earlier in the day) but ultimately, Brytni aims to be as flexible as possible for her clients, so partying on a week night is always an option. Don't be afraid to ask!
On weekends, afternoon events are a great idea and a popular option for the "busiest" of our friends and family. An ideal starting time is between noon and 4pm, allowing everyone to enjoy their mornings off while keeping their evenings open for family time or other plans.
A good time to start your evening of Passion is between 5pm and 8pm, more specifically 6 or 7 o'clock. This starting time allows for everyone to make it home after work/school to get ready for your event, but also assures that they'll be home at a decent hour after the fun. And for anyone who can't stay long, wrapping up the Passion Party around 9 or 10pm can get them back home to the babysitter or on to their next event at a decent time.

How long does it take to host a party?
Passion Parties by Brytni typically last between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the subject matter and size of your event... but the length is totally up to you as hostess.
Shorter parties are possible (book your Mini Party with Brytni, today!) and, with larger groups or special events, your guests could be celebrating for 4 or 5 hours.
Brytni's Passion Presentation will never take more than an hour of your time.

How many people should I invite?
Your party's guest count is ultimately up to you, but to ensure party success (in terms of the Hostess Rewards program and your consultant's compensation) an ideal party has 10-15 guests.
A good thing to keep in mind (for any event, not just Passion Parties) is that not everyone you invite is guaranteed to be able to attend. So if you'd like to host 8 friends, you shouldn't just invite 8 people. Sometimes it works out and everyone is available and ready to party! But typically, we recommend that you over-invite; two invitations for each available seat at your party.
Sound like a chore?
Don't sweat it! Most people assume they don't have the social circle to pull off a successful Passion Party, but Brytni will personally help you create a guest list for your special night! It's part of her role as your Passion Consultant and she has years of experience helping her clients come up with a handful of people to play in Passion and help earn them free products!
You'd be surprised how easy it is to think of 6 or 8 women (who would both enjoy the event and appreciate the invitation!), and how easy it is for them to bring a guest of their own (effectively doubling the size of your party!). Don't limit yourself to who you "think might be interested"... how do you know for sure? Invite everyone :)

Who can come to my party?
It's your event... you decide! Because Passion Parties are "The Ultimate Girls' Night In", Brytni prefers to entertain a party of women. That said, we do not discriminate; she's held several co-ed parties and even one comprised entirely of gay men, so the Y chromosome is welcome here!
There are, however, some rules:
A co-ed or couples' party must be discussed and approved of before the night of your event. If Brytni arrives under the impression that the guests will all be women and there are men present, she will not continue with the party presentation; the men will have to leave or you will have to reschedule.
The reason being, is that your consultant does preparatory work before each party to tailor it to her host's needs and guests' expectations (which is why having a guest count beforehand is so important!). The presentation, and therefore your party, is not the same when there are men and/or couples' to incorporate, so unannounced male guests are not a welcome surprise (for either your consultant or your guests, who were expecting "Ladies' Night"). Please respect Brytni's business, and your guests, by discussing male attendees beforehand.
Besides, this is supposed to be your ladies night! Why would you want men there anyway? You can meet up with them later, after the fun and games (or host a Couples' Party next time)! Based on years of consulting experience, party goers tend to be less inhibited and more enthusiastic when their company is comprised of other women; having men in the room can stifle the fun and even make some guests uncomfortable with such an intimate topic. What if your friends and family are less willing to open up or make purchases because they're sitting next to four or five men they've never met?! This could not only bring down the energy, but can will affect sales, hurting both Brytni as a business owner and you as a reward seeker!
So, no men allowed unless approved by your Passion Consultant first.
Finally, minors are not allowed under any circumstances. We cannot (legally) and will not (professionally) move forward with a party presentation if anyone in the room is under 18. This includes nursing babies and sleeping toddlers... so please, ADULTS ONLY.

What are hostess rewards?
Hostess Rewards are provided by your Passion Consultant as compensation for a successful event and bonuses for working together. The more your guests support Passion Parties by Brytni (by attending, shopping, and booking their own parties), the more you can get discounted or free!
In addition to the company rewards, Passion Parties by Brytni provides a gift to each host, simply for partying and supporting Brytni's business.
Contact Brytni for the specific details of the Hostess Rewards Program.

When do I get my rewards?
Hostess Rewards are given at the end of the Passion Party when the requirement has been met. This will vary, depending on the goal being achieved. For example, if you keep your original booking date, you'll receive your reward on that date, since the goal has then been met. You'll also get your complimentary gift from Brytni during your party.
At the end of the party, once all of your guests have placed an order, your Passion Consultant will determine if you've earned any additional discounts from the "teamwork" activities (outside orders? new party bookings? 12 shopping guests?) and if the shopping experience your guests had meets the shopping credit threshold (as set by Passion Parties Inc. in the Hostess Rewards Program), in order to grant you monetary rewards (in the form of a discount). These discounts will be issued to your order on the night of your party.
For questions about specific rewards and offers, feel free to contact Brytni.

When do I get my products?
On occasion, Brytni will bring an inventory of products with her to the Passion Party. If she happens to have a product that you ordered on hand, you can take it home that same evening.
More often than not, you will submit an order using forms available the party and receive your package of products by mail (UPS Ground) at a later date.
Passion Parties Inc. uses UPS delivery services and products are typically received from our Las Vegas, NV warehouse within one week (a party held on Friday, Saturday or Sunday can expect product delivery by the following weekend).

How much is shipping and do I have to pay?
Because Passion Parties uses UPS to deliver your products, our rates are based on the UPS company ground rates for shipping, including their gas tax (which they charge your Passion Consultant).
Rates are currently as follows:
$0-125: $10 shipping
$125+ : Flat rate of 8% of retail order
But what if I got my product at the party? I didn't have it shipped to me...
Yes, but Brytni did. Because she paid the shipping charge to get that product in you hands, you must pay back that cost in order to take the item(s) home.
If you do not pay for shipping, you are not "stickin it to the man" or just shaving a few bucks off some CEO's profit, you are directly robbing your consultant. When we enter your product order, shipping is automatically charged and added to your total. Therefore, if you do not cover the shipping costs, your Passion Consultant has to pay it out of pocket. Not cool.
There are no exceptions to the shipping charge unless you have earned "free shipping" from Brytni in the form of a coupon or game prize. Everyone must pay shipping and tax.
Thank you for your understanding.
